Ice and Fire - The "Rink" at the Elements 

 

The Ice Rink is situated at the Fire Zone of the "Elements".
The incompatibility of the natural elements "Ice" and "Fire"
has become our intrinsic design concept for "The Rink" and
amalgamating the two seemingly conflicting elements in
unity and harmony has turned into our greatest challenge.
In the design execution:

icicles sculpt the entrance tunnel;
ice bergs clad the ice columns;
igloo morphs into the Engo House;
ice slabs form counters and lights;
ice cubes mould into chairs and stools,
while scorching red flames stall the firewall and turn the
ceiling soffit burning red-hot......
with the energy so fierce that simulates that of;
the flash and speed of the hockey puck the sharp contours left on the ice surface by the speed skaters;

the cheering and screaming of the crowd in joy,

with the "Ice" and "Fire" unified here at "The Rink" to become the sustainable Elements of our times.

On the operational side, we are pleased to design this environmentally friendly and special rink in having:

natural light setting and airy space to start with;

paperless operation with the Octopus control;

100% recyclable ice chilling system and emission free Engo

unique consideration of Home and Away booths, Changing rooms, Shower facilities and, some user friendly benches, seats, basins etc. target for our prime host: children users; all these unique environmentally friendly facilities at "The Rink" help contribute to cleaner air, bluer sky, fuller and healthier life.
